Scolio is a small organisation set up by an inspirational young lady named Jess. Jess aged fifteen suffers with scoliosis, and when she was twelve she had surgery to correct her curve, but unfortunately suffered rare complications. Her lung collapsed, she contracted pneumonia and lost all movement and feeling in her arms and legs. She was told it was unlikely she would ever walk again, but fortunatly has gone on to make a full recovery. Her journey inspired her to start up Scolio and help others . Our youth representative Master Myles Sketchley attended Scolio’s first ball and presented Jess with a donation of £500 towards sending gifts and making wishes for children that have serious bone conditions.
