A youngster from North Cornelly has been given a new lease of life thanks to the arrival of his new state of the art sports chair.
Thirteen year old Ben who has spina bifida is a budding sportsman but the prohibitive cost of a bespoke wheelchair was hampering his dream.
Thanks to the Miss Universe Great Britain competition and the Hemraj Goyal Foundation the problem has been solved and Ben is the proud new owner of a £2,000 chair.
To celebrate the arrival of the chair, Holly Hale, Miss Universe Great Britain 2012 visited Ben at home.
His new chair means he can move faster and easier in all three of his favourite sports. His dream is to become a Paralympian and this chair can help him achieve that.
